Prior to joining the Bar, Wen gained valuable experience working as a solicitor for over 7 years. He was a part of the IP groups of two leading national firms and a specialist IP firm, where he honed his skills in the field of intellectual property. Throughout his time as a solicitor, he gained substantial experience in patents and trademark disputes and has represented clients in the Federal Court and IP Australia.

Wen holds a Masters of Intellectual Property Law from the University of Melbourne, and he received the Davies Collison Cave award for copyright law testifying to his deep understanding and expertise in this area of law. He also graduated with Honours in law from the University of New South Wales, further solidifying his credentials as a legal professional.
